Studio VIE: From Warm-Ups to Wow Factor in Just Five Days
THE CHALLENGE

Running a dance camp for elementary-aged kids isn’t just about keeping them entertained—it’s about creating something that feels exciting, structured, and just a little bit magical. Studio VIE wanted a camp that would blend spirit-building with skill-building, while also giving parents something to be proud of. With a tight timeline, a small team, and a showcase to pull off, this had to be more than just coloring sheets and choreography.

THE STRATEGY
I approached the camp like a brand experience. Every activity, visual, and communication touchpoint was designed to support three things: clarity for parents, engagement for dancers, and cohesion for the final performance. The plan? Keep it simple, keep it energetic, and make sure everything—from the warm-ups to the arm placements—served a purpose.

THE EXECUTION
From concept to curtain call, I created the entire framework. This included everything from flyers to visual aids, performance plans, and hands-on activities that kept campers engaged and excited to participate. Each day had a plan that balanced movement, team-building, and fun. The week wrapped with a showcase that gave dancers a chance to perform confidently and celebrate what they built together.

What started as a one-week idea turned into a branded, performance-ready experience that felt bigger than the schedule on paper. The dancers were engaged, the parents were impressed, and the showcase delivered exactly what it promised: spirit, structure, and a whole lot of pom. Studio VIE now has a repeatable summer program that’s equal parts polished and fun—and ready to grow.
